CLASSES

WHERE: Morris Memorial Building, 17 Park Row, Chatham, NY 12037
COST: **New Lower Price** Beginners $100 for 10 one-hour lessons. Returning students $50 for 10 one-hour lessons. We know Tai Chi isn't for everyone so come try us out. If you like it, you can pay at the second lesson. If you feel it's not for you, there will be no charge for the first class.
FIRST CLASS: Wear lose, comfortable clothing, soft-soled shoes, sneakers or just socks.

LEVELS
BEGINNER LEVEL I: Students who have never studied Tai Chi before, or those who want to review their form. You will be taught the Tai Chi stance, chi exercise, turning of the waist/hip, weight shifting and beginning postures. This class will take the student through the Grasp the Sparrow's Tail sequence which is an integral part of the Tai Chi Form.
BEGINNER LEVEL II: This is for students who have completed the Beginner I class. You will be taught the Apparent Closing of the first part of the form and move into the second part learning the repetitive moves of Repulse Monkey, Wave Hands at Clouds and Fair Lady Works the Shuttle.
BEGINNER LEVEL III: Students who have completed Level II Class will be taught the rest of the postures to complete the form.
SENIOR STUDENTS: Have completed the form, are receiving corrections and are helpful with demonstrating the application of the form, learning advanced practices and helping other students.

OTHER
CLASS SESSIONS: Three sessions per year running for ten weeks each. Fall Session will start in September and end the week before Thanksgiving, Winter Session will start in January and Spring Session will start in April, all running for ten weeks each.
